Grout Sealing and Color Sealing

Grout is much like an English muffin.

It is full of ‘nooks and crannies.’ Nooks and crannies are great for English muffins, because they hold all that warm butter and sweet jam.

However, nooks and crannies in grout permit spills, dirt, and other contaminants to penetrate and get trapped beneath the surface. No amount of regular mopping can get those trapped contaminants out. Dirt, bacteria and odors result.

The solution?

After a deep power cleaning, the grout lines need to be sealed. Sealing fills in the nooks and crannies, keeping spills from penetrating and stains from settling in. There are two options we offer for sealing your grout lines —regular sealing and ColorSealing.

Which one is right for your needs?

Regular Sealing

Our regular grout sealing service is an application of invisible impregnating sealer to your grout that fills in the empty spaces where dirt, bacteria and odors used to hide. After your grout is sealed, regular cleaning produces the results you expect.

Color Sealing

The main reasons people choose ColorSealing are to change the color of their grout lines and to get the best possible sealing protection. If grout lines have become stained and do not look uniform after cleaning, ColorSealing is the ideal solution, making all of your grout lines the same color once again. Once your grout is ColorSealed, you’ll have time to wipe up spills such as coffee, soy sauce, ketchup, etc. before they become stains, and your regular cleaning will become much easier and more effective.

Another Advantage of ColorSealing

Another unique advantage to the ColorSeal process is that your grout is protected by constant acting mildewcides. The result is a cleaner, healthier environment for your home.

Try Before You Buy

We offer a variety of colors and can even come to you, free of charge, and apply a few color samples to your discolored grout in an inconspicuous area. After it dries (within 24 hours), you can choose which color you like best.  Then, it’s just a matter of scheduling a day to ColorSeal your grout.

Your Options

We can ColorSeal to match your original grout color, which is a great way to seal and protect while giving your floor a fresh, like-new look.

We can change the color of your grout entirely, for example, from black to white, to give your floor a distinctively different appearance. Color sealer is available in a wide array of colors and your grout can even be changed from a dark color to a lighter one.
